Organizations:

Bereavement Ministry - Assists in implementing the funeral liturgy for the deceased of the parish.  Their mission is to provide greeters, readers, Eucharistic Ministers and program booklets for all funerals.  In addition, their care extends to grieving families, particularly during their first year of loss through cards, phone calls and supportive reading.  A support group is available to all in need.  For more information contact Deacon Joseph Kovitch at 255-3404 or Bill & Gloria Gregory at 255-5197.

Shopping Certificate Program - This program is an on-going parish fundraiser, but with a twist to it.  Participants can earn credits for themselves toward payment of their school tuition or building fund pledge, while purchasing shopping certificates that earn money for the parish.  Here is how it works:

The parish purchases, at an average discount of approximately 4 1/2% - 5%, gift certificates to over 50 stores and shops in and around Mentor.  These are sold through the rectory office during normal business hours and through the school (during the regular school year).

Purchasers earn 2 1/2% credit on the certificates they buy throughout the year, and these credits can be applied to their tuition bill, their building pledge, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Adopt-A-Student Fund, or to the school or church discretionary fund.

You can help yourself while helping to make this fundraiser a success by doing your grocery shopping, gift shopping, dining out, movie nights, etc...using our shopping certificate program.  For further information call Denise DiFrangia at 974-1233 or Lenore Emerson at 205-0922.  Volunteers are always welcome to assist in program management.
